Commercial Take-Over and Project Management - Facilitating Large-Scale Inventory Transfers Across Europe

With our expertise in Project Management, we have successfully managed numerous projects involving transfers of large inventory volumes into the ownership of our partners or organizations. The projects included the coordination of inventory transitions from major international players, spanning not only the Nordic region but also other key European markets.

We have experience with 15+ acquisitions and integrations. The two major ones included respectively 200+ and 800+ SKUs, which were transferred into existing and new distribution network. It also included transfer of several new CMOs. All integration projects were delivered on time without delays.

ERP and Planning Systems – Streamlined Processes and Data Accuracy

Experienced within implementation and rollouts of various ERP and advanced planning systems including Kinaxis and SAP IBP within different pharmaceutical organizations. These initiatives have delivered a significant improvement of data quality and accessibility and further significantly increased forecast precision, optimized inventory levels and improved production planning.

When moving from Excel-based supply chain management to automated planning systems one needs to carefully implement new procedures established along with a strong change management focus. Implementation of data governance ensured fully validated data which increased data reliability and enabled better, faster and more precise decision making to the benefit of the business.

S&OP and Agility - Improved Production Utilization

We have demonstrated substantial improvements in demand and supply balancing through an agile and efficiently coordinated Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP).

This approach, rooted in effective cross-functional S&OP alignment, has made notable improvements in operational efficiency and resource utilization. It has further enhanced agile capabilities such as demand sensing, alertness and improved decision making.

Key initiatives included strategic batch sharing across markets and pack sizes, accurate supply and production planning, and proactive demand shaping strategies.

With our data-driven approach, we leverage the most advanced analytic tools to monitor prices across all dimensions, incorporating stock levels, incoming orders, and more.

We have, in full alignment with our partners, effectively countered attempts by the originator and other competitors to overtake market shares for our products, ensuring a brighter future marked by improved sales and profitability.

Our market expertise combined with our price management tool further enables us to proactively foresee potential write-off risks and take appropriate actions.

Supplier Relationship Management

Through close collaboration with our suppliers and partners, we’ve strengthened our ability to improve communication to the customers, resulting in mutual success and win-win outcomes. By applying supplier scorecards, conducting regular performance reviews, and engaging in collaborative improvement initiatives, we’ve achieved increased supplier reliability, reduced lead times, and cost savings.

These improvements have been instrumental in ensuring streamlined product launches, characterized by on-time delivery of sufficient high-quality products to meet expected uptake.

To improve the transparency towards our partners we have fine-tuned the financial & operational reports and developed a framework around meeting structure.

Inventory Management - Preventing Lost Sales through Real-Time Data Monitoring

Through our online access and IT systems, integrated with warehouses and wholesalers, we closely monitor stock levels to prevent any shortfall below predetermined stock levels. We mitigate the risk of stockouts by having a close dialogue with our partners, ensuring high focus on current and new orders.

To further prevent lost sales, we utilize our flexible logistical set-up by swiftly coordinating transfers of Nordic multi-language packs (if available) between warehouses.

In line with our transparent approach, we agree the standard parameters with our partners, such as lead times, safety stock levels, remaining shelf life etc. before we initiate business to secure that we have a clear and agreed framework for the cooperation. All with a clear focus on controlling costs securing supply continuity and inventory health in general.

MA Transfers - Ensuring Seamless Regulatory transfer and Supply Continuity

We have experience in facilitating multiple MA Transfers for our partners. We employ a structured methodology and project framework to secure that nothing is overlooked throughout the transfer process. The framework includes both regulatory reviews as well as supply chain activities. We ensure a streamlined MA transition and can assist both as the project leader or on specific tasks.

Bridging stock and commercial risk – important decisions to take in order to maintain supply continuity is always executed in full alignment with our partners.

Managing hospital tenders

We have successfully managed to submit and transfer a relatively large number of hospital tenders – cross the Nordic countries – with short notice.

Being the lead in a most complicated hospital tender process involving two major international players. Only our dedicated and focused project management avoided possible loss of the tender.

There are numerous examples of saving our partners from substantial amounts in penalties. Our flexible and creative approach to bridge back orders with substitutable products is making a difference.
